Florida Blue Field Marketing Internship

Reporting to the Senior Manager , Field or Experiential Marketing, this internship aids in the development and implementation of marketing tactics for Florida Blue's statewide sport, retail and community sponsorships in order to meet our objectives. This role's responsibilities involve creating and executing the partnership strategy through monitoring and reporting progress and results. This role provides a hybrid role, which allows for interns to works from their own preferred environment for some assignments and on-site at events for other assignments. Candidates would be expected to travel up to a 2 hour radius for in-person events.

Internship duration: July - Mid December

What an Intern can expect:

The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.

* Collaborate with the Field Marketing Specialist and managers in experiential & Field marketing event planning and reporting.

* Aid the Field or Experiential Marketing team in various data entry capacities including organizing and archiving event files and documents.

* Schedule vendors to support event activations.

* Assist in event execution though onsite event support, including, set-up, staffing, and breakdown

* Compile marketing metrics, leads, and CPIs for reporting purposes.

* Provide overall support for Marketing campaigns and events

Required Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited college or university degree program.

* Must have and maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better at the time of application, throughout the application process, and for the duration of the internship program

* A strong interest in marketing, events, or communications.

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

* Availability to commit to a set schedule for the duration of the internship.

* Creativity and proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva is a plus.

* Enthusiasm for marketing (community, retail, & sports) and an interest in learning about sponsorship strategies.

* Ability to work nights and or weekends

General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Hourly Pay Range: $15 - $23

Typical Hourly Pay Range: $15 - $17

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
